Picking up the pace at NAMPO 2015
Larger selection of Volvo and SDLG machinery on display this year
Last year we received an overwhelming response from visitors to our Nampo stand and based on this success we have invested more into the displays on our 2015 stand. “In this area our main customer sectors are agricultural and diamond mining, and we’re focusing on providing these customers with a wider range of choices.” - David Vaughn, Sales Director l Equipment. Babcock is the exclusive distributor of Volvo and SDLG construction equipment in southern Africa. Both these brands will be represented on the 900 square metre outdoor stand at Nampo 2015.
Wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and crawler excavators are among the selection of Volvo machinery that will be exhibited on the stand. The D-Series crawler excavators epitomise optimal productivity, reliability and versatility. The excavators feature Volvo’s unique ECO mode, which contributes to up to 5% of the machine’s total increased fuel efficiency, smart electro-hydraulic control and increased digging performance. This machine delivers an excellent operator environment with a comfortable seat, ideally placed controls, excellent visibility and plenty of cab room. The Volvo BL61 and BL71 backhoe loaders deliver durability, power, quality and environmental care. These machines offer better dig depths, breakout forces and operating capacities than virtually every competitive model in its price class.
The SDLG range on display will include wheel loaders and graders. SDLG machines are fitted with fuel efficient Cummins or Deutz diesel engines and feature quiet, ergonomically designed cabs and ROPS/FOPS certified, ensuring the range meets with internationally accepted safety standards. SDLG graders are competitively priced and embody world class manufacturing quality.
