Lonah's journey began in 2012 when she matriculated and started her studies at FT College. After initially studying fitting and facing challenges finding a job, Lonah discovered her passion for diesel mechanics. Despite not knowing much about machines initially, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and skill acquisition, eventually falling in love with the intricacies of big machines, especially excavators.
Beyond her professional life, Lonah enjoys spending quality time with her son, baking, hiking, and traveling. She emphasises the importance of passion for young girls aspiring to enter the field, encouraging them to persevere through obstacles.
Lonah's story is one of resilience, skill, and a commitment to paving the way for others in a male-dominated industry. Her journey, filled with challenges and triumphs, stands as an inspiration for those considering a career in mechanics.
