Refiloe Motau, founder of Lahleni Bolts, has spent over five years supplying fasteners, bolts, and mechanical components. When she joined the Babcock Entrepreneurship Development Programme, she expected business opportunities — but walked away with a strategic mindset shift.
Key insights around CRM systems, diversification, and digital platforms encouraged Refiloe to look beyond traditional retail operations. With guidance from mentors, she is now exploring manufacturing and e-commerce as future growth areas.
Refiloe is now working toward funding to support her manufacturing plans, leveraging the business plans and strategic frameworks developed during the programme.
