Babcock recently experienced a cyber security event, affecting a very limited area only, within our African commercial business. The unusual activity was identified through our own governance processes and quickly isolated. The event did not affect any other part of the Babcock network. Our priority has been contacting and supporting those potentially affected to provide the appropriate information and guidance, while maintaining the security and integrity of our systems. We have notified the relevant authorities and continue to meet our regulatory obligations. Our business in Africa has continued to operate and affected systems and services were rebuilt and reintroduced in a controlled and safe manner. A dedicated Babcock support line has been established to assist with enquiries relating to this notification. The support line will operate daily from 08:00 to 17:00, including public holidays.
