To help DAF Truck customers access flexible finance solutions that speak directly to their specific business needs, Babcock has entered into a strategic agreement with Commercial Finance, an authorised financial service provider approved by all major financial institutions in South Africa.
New partnership offers Babcock customers flexible finance options
Founded in 2003, Commercial Finance has over the past 19 years created strategic partnerships with recognised financial services institutions, allowing the company to offer customised finance solutions on a range of assets, including cars, trucks, yellow metal and agricultural equipment.
Represented in all major provinces of South Africa, the company is approved by Wesbank, ABSA, Standard Bank, MFC, Marquis Finance, Alphera Finance, Merchant West, Centrafin, SASFIN, Sunlyn, Investec, RMB, IMAS, Cash Power, Redtree Capital and Cape Finance Corporation.
“To complement our existing Babcock Financial Services, we have entered into an agreement with a partner that we believe can offer unparalleled financing flexibility to our customers. Commercial Finance offers a wide range of finance and insurance services and solutions for both new and used vehicles,” explains Rhenier Kapp, Business Development Manager at Babcock’s transport business.
Commercial Finance Owner Johan Olivier says Commercial Finance will offer Babcock clients 14 different credit lines. “Not only do we offer traditional finance solutions, but also private funding solutions, including rent to own, off balance sheet finance and yearly and half yearly payments, among others,” he says.
Babcock customers will benefit from a wide range of finance options, complemented by efficient service and a process that is customer and dealer friendly. Value added products such as extended warranties, group life, tracking devices as well as service and maintenance plans, are also offered. Commercial Finance also takes care of all compliance requirements, enabling the dealer to focus on customer service.
“To better support Babcock and its customers, we have a dedicated staff member, Lee-Ann Oosthuizen, who is located at the Babcock offices in Benoni and is responsible for coordinating all finance and insurance functions,” concludes Johan.
