Operation Drought Relief

There are severe water shortages in various areas of South Africa. To help alleviate the plight of those affected by the drought, employees of Babcock Transport Solutions initiated a water collection drive.

Operation Drought Relief

A DAF truck carrying the precious cargo left Babcock Transport Solutions in Benoni bound for the Free State on Monday. The water drive took place over 14 days and 6500 litres of water was raised for the residents of Senekal.  Bras Trucking collected the water and delivered to a collection point in East Lynn that runs deliveries to Senekal on most Saturdays.

Our Equipment branch in Durban ran an independent collection and on short notice were able to raise 42 (5L) bottles of water.
