The CF 480 ToughX configuration builds on the success of single-reduction models, offering enhanced durability and performance. It features the popular Paccar MX-13 480hp engine paired with a ZF TraXon 16-speed Overdrive transmission and 2x 16-ton Hub-reduction rear axles, creating a robust driveline suitable for demanding highway and off-road operations.
Additional rugged features include a factory-standard PTO, JOST 38C 2” fifth wheel, rear drum brakes, a robust construction bumper, 385/65R22.5 steered front tires, and a 9-ton front axle, ensuring increased ground clearance for challenging environments.
