Tip-top performance from DAF trucks brings Amizon back for more

Performance, reliability and fuel economy are at the top of the list of priorities for any transporter, and it’s these features that see Babcock customers like Amizon returning for DAF trucks. The Mpumalanga-based coal transporter took delivery of four DAF XF105 480 smart spec trucks in July and will be getting a further 12 trucks later this year. The trucks will be used as tippers in the coal industry. Thanks to the PACCAR MX engine, developed and manufactured by DAF, the DAF X105 combines excellent high performance with economical fuel. “We keep on returning to Babcock for DAF trucks not only for the reliability and lower costs of running the trucks, but also because of the excellent relationship we have with Babcock. The team really looks after my business and is always there to assist us. They have also tailor-made a finance package based on my specific business needs,” says Koos.
