Dhurusha, a mechanical engineering graduate from UKZN, embarked on her career journey at Transnet Engineering, where she gained valuable experience in welding-related projects. Her expertise led her to become an International Welding Engineer, equipped with a deep understanding of welding metallurgy.
Joining Babcock in 2023, Dhurusha assumed the crucial responsibility of ensuring Babcock's adherence to ISO 3834 certification standards, guaranteeing top-notch welding quality across the board. As the Welding Engineering Manager, she oversees welding procedures, material control, and welder qualifications, ensuring every aspect of welding meets the highest standards.
