Babcock maintains an existing 13 500 MW utility scale steam generation plant and 10 000 MW of High Energy Piping through a long-term service agreement with Eskom, via full permanent site infrastructure and the ability to command large pools of specialised resources at short notice to handle planned and unplanned outages. Babcock is closely involved in outage management and planning, achieving success by supporting customer and government initiatives.
