Tanya went above and beyond her role by voluntarily sharing her time and expertise to deliver practical demonstrations on how to safely and correctly change a flat tyre. These demonstrations were conducted at both the Jet Park and Riley Road sites, providing employees with valuable, hands-on knowledge that extends beyond the workplace.
Importantly, the initiative equipped employees with a roadside safety skill — particularly relevant in South Africa, where tyre-related incidents can pose significant risk, especially when driving alone. By focusing on real-life application, Tanya ensured that safety learning was not only relevant but meaningful.
