Babcock enhances productivity for abnormal payloads for African long-haul operators with an upgraded version of the acclaimed Smart spec. A Paccar MX-13 530hp engine is paired with a ZF TraXon 16-speed Overdrive transmission and 2x 16-ton Hub-reduction rear axles, creating a robust driveline suitable for demanding abnormal load operations.
Additional features include a JOST 38C 3.5” fifth wheel, rear drum brakes, 385/65R22.5 steered front tires, and a 9-ton front axle, ensuring increased ground clearance for challenging environments.
