Together with Raizcorp, Babcock manages an exciting transformation and development programme for black-owned businesses. Its objective is to prepare qualifying businesses to potentially join the supply chain of large corporations in South Africa. Entrepreneurs and suppliers can benefit from Raizcorp's full service enterprise and supplier development programs that guide them to profitability and accelerate their growth. 
Soul Mzansi
Soul Mzansi is one of the participants in the program. Owner and manager of Soul Mzansi, Oupa Ngwenya, has been working in the catering industry since 2014. In April 2021, he began operating his food truck business. Assisting Oupa are his wife and Cynthia, a culinary school graduate.
In support of Soul Mzansi, the Babcock comms team created flyers, menus and whatsapp stickers and adverts. The food truck is currently located outside Babcock's equipment business in Taljaard Road, Bartlett and provides meals and refreshments to employees and businesses in the area.
